As the quality of the final product largely depends on original raw materials, Ortomad adopts the principal of controlled production in collaboration with agricultural producers capable of producing – under rigid control - raw materials of the highest level. This is followed by a production process which guarantees that the product remains not only fresh during packaging and distribution but also through to eventual customers. Producers supplying raw material to Ortomad are constantly supervised by a specialized team of agronomists operating under the Ortomad umbrella. Agricultural practices and techniques of cultivation ensuring limited ecological impact and the use of pesticides are encouraged. Indeed, such are the residual limits imposed by the Ortomad management structure, these are equal to a mere 30% of existing norms.
